Victoria really has become a hotbed of entrepreneurship. As well as successful local business owners, they’re people I admire and who really have learned “the art of living”. I’m thrilled to have gotten to know them and continue to be inspired by them.
Emrys Damon Miller is the most talented designer I’ve ever met. He combines his skills and talent with a degree of social awareness and sense of responsibility which makes him unique in the industry. His work speaks for itself.
Chances are you’ve got at least one Apple device in your house. If that’s the case, and you need some help with it/them, Aitan’s your guy. All the knowledge, and none of the social awkwardness or condescension…that’s what makes him my favourite tech guy *EVER*.

Matt’s not only a great guy, but he’s an amazing host, and is so passionate about the place we live he built his business around sharing it. If you’re visiting, new, or just want to get to know our city better, I highly recommend taking one of his tours.
Bar none, Saint Franks is my favourite place on the planet to have a few dogs, play 80s video games, *AND* get a haircut. Rocky’s a great host with a ready smile and easy conversation. Only in Victoria could this work, and only Rocky could make it work, and work it does.
Helen Mason and I share the same philosophy of art. Make art for the sheer joy of it. Make more. Then do it some more. Helen is sharing this philosophy with the world. Art Angels helps people be less intimidated by art and takes them through those terrifying first steps and in to a world full of creativity and beauty.
Andy’s both hilarious and talented. He’s the guy I can imagine hanging out with for an afternoon before he heads off to headline the main stage at Rifflandia. Be it a dirge or a polka, western ballad or pop tune, Andy is the guy to immortalize your critter.
